Rock The House With Van Halen Tickets

Van Halen tickets aren't just tickets to any rock concert- they are tickets to see one of the most monumental rock bands that have ever graced the face of this planet. These guys of have been rocking crowds all around the world for over twenty years and they are still going strong, with a brand new tour all set to take the world by storm.

Hard Work And Van Halen

Nobody said that becoming a star was an easy thing to do- just ask the Van Halen boys. Brothers Eddie and Alex Van Halen decided to form a band, way back in 1972 and they were very serious about their music. They finally got a band together with the help of David Lee Roth and Michael Anthony. After trying a number of band names they finally settled on Van Halen, a name that would soon carve a niche for itself in music history.

Van Halen knew that making great music was just half of the journey in making it to the top. They also had to gig as much as possible and make themselves known to the public. The band began to play anywhere they could and were soon a regular feature on the Sunset Strip. The Van Halen brothers would go out to high schools before every concert, trying to bring in as many people as possible. Little did they know that in a few years, Van Halen tickets would be much harder to come by.

Breaking Through

Van Halen got their big break with the release of their album of the same name. Prior to this, Gene Simmons of the band KISS had been so impressed with the band that he had flown them down to New York to get a demo together. This boosted the confidence of the band enormously but they really didn't have anything to worry about. The band's first album was a smash hit, yielding a rash of number one hits. The boys showed absolutely no signs of slowing down, jumping on the touring bandwagon by opening for Black Sabbath. Soon the music biz was buzzing with this new band called Van Halen.

Musically, Van Halen seemed unstoppable and by the 1980s they were not only the most successful but also the most influential rock band around. However things were not going well on other fronts. David Lee Roth, the frontman of the band had cemented an image of a cartoonish image and distinctly pop flavor. Eddie Van Halen wanted to try something new for the band- tensions gradually rose and boiled over with Roth leaving the band.

This would herald what many would term to be a love-hate relationship between Van Halen and David Lee Roth. A number of fans were disappointed and sales of Van Halen tickets dipped slightly when the band brought in singer Sammy Hagar though he too would leave eventually. Despite all these issues, Van Halen has got a new line up with Roth back on vocals and the young Wolfgang Van Halen, Eddie's son on bass. You can be there to watch it all happen- just get to an online authorized ticket vendor and order Van Halen tickets.
